SPF homebred, je suis bernard, aka bernie, is a traditionally bred irish sport horse by formula one and out of a kildaton gold mare.

bernie's sire, formula one, was imported from ireland as a colt by denny emerson; emerson purchased him knowing he'd make an ideal cross on thoroughbred and lighter sport horse mares. formula one competed in eventing and the jumper ring prior to retiring to the breeding shed. he has a number of offspring competing at the upper levels, most notably, landmark's monte carlo, a gelding competing at the 4* level with lauren keiffer.

Bernie is an agreeable and willing individual that has moved steadily up the levels in eventing. his partnership with sara beth began when he was three, and now at the age of seven, he is competently, and confidently competing at Preliminary.
